Port-Barcarès is located in the extreme north of the Pyrénées-Orientales department, on a coastal strip separating the Mediterranean and the Salses lake. It is an extension of the town of Barcarès and continues North through the resort of Leucate in the Aude. The Port of Barcarès extends for 12km. It is a family-oriented seaside resort, very active during the season. At the gates of the campsite you will find the 10km “green cycle trail” or the “Greenway”, a walking trail to Rivesaltes (15km). Discover all of the resort’s nautical activities: nautical ski-tow, windsurfing, canoeing, catamaran, ocean trips, sea kayaking, kite-surfing, etc. In any season, Port Barcarès offers varied events.

In summer, participate in the fishermen’s festival, musical concerts, folk-lore plays, etc.

Access from the A9 Autoroute, exit n°40 Leucate.

Departmental road D627 towards Port Leucate then the D83 to Barcarès.
