The Port of Barcarès extends for 12km. It is a family-oriented seaside resort, very active during the season. At the gates of the campsite you will find the 10km “green cycle trail” or the “Greenway”, a walking trail to Rivesaltes (15km). Discover all of the resort’s nautical activities: nautical ski-tow, windsurfing, canoeing, catamaran, ocean trips, sea kayaking, kite-surfing, etc. In any season, Port Barcarès offers varied events. In summer, participate in the fishermen’s festival, musical concerts, folk-lore plays, etc.

Stay at the Presqu’île campsite and use it as a base to discover the Catalan country. To the North, the lake of Leucate, the fortress of Salse, the Fitou and Rivesaltes wines, etc…. To the South, travel the Ruby Coast; visit marvellous Collioure and its cultural heritage, its famous anchovies, Banyuls with its coasts covered with vineyards, its maritime reserve, Port Vendres with its typical fishing port and pretty wild coves. More generally, the Eastern Pyrenees will seduce you with its mixture of ocean and mountains, its gastronomic pleasures and its historical and cultural riches. The doorway to Spain via the Perthus pass is just 50km from your holiday spot.
